Pittsburgh, PA — B-Three Solutions opened its doors in September 2006, with half a dozen software developers and two clients. This month, B-Three is celebrating eight years of steady growth, with a development staff that has quadrupled in order to serve a large roster of clients.

Although the firm’s clients are spread across a wide area, all of B-Three’s personnel are based in Pittsburgh, developing custom software solutions at local client sites and at the company’s office in Plum Borough. The firm has become known for its focus on fixed-fee projects, and for its one year warranty on the software it develops.

Asked to identify key factors in the company’s success, B-Three President Michael P. Walton called attention to the employee retention rate of nearly 100%. “That continuity really works to the advantage of our clients, because we can provide them with teams of developers who have worked together for years. The continuity contributes to our success with the Agile methodology as B-Three’s software development strategy.”
As B-Three begins its ninth year of business; Walton expects the steady growth to continue: “2014 has been a very good year, and we anticipate that 2015 will be even better.”
